Ex-Washington Post Staffer Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Possession
A 48-year-old man who formerly worked for The Washington Post pleaded guilty in court on Friday to charges of possessing child pornography, an incident that raises questions about the reputation of the former news outlet.
LeGro was arrested in June 2025 during the execution of a search warrant at his home by the FBI. Investigators discovered 11 videos depicting child sexual abuse on his laptop. The case was investigated by the FBI's Washington Field Office's Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.
LeGro is scheduled to be sentenced on September 3, 2026.
