IAEA Confirms No Issues at Japanese Nuclear Facilities After Quake
A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck the waters east of Japan. The tremor began offshore of Japan's Honshu Island around 4:52 PM, prompting a tsunami warning.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that Japan's nuclear facilities are operating without issues.
The IAEA reported that as of 5:16 PM Japan time, no abnormalities were detected at the nuclear facilities in the earthquake-affected region.
