Chun Ha-ram Criticizes People Power Party Lawmaker Over 'World Tour' Remark

Chun Ha-ram, floor leader of the New Reform Party, criticized Jang Dong-hyuk, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, by referencing his 'world tour' comment. Chun Ha-ram remarked critically about Jang Dong-hyuk's 8-day, 10-night visit to the United States ahead of the general elections, stating, 'Less news appearing is the way to help the People Power Party candidate,' and added, 'You should go on a world tour.'

Chun Ha-ram also stated that former lawmaker Cho Eung-chun's potential run for Gyeonggi Province governor is still under discussion and that his own intentions are important.

The New Reform Party pointed out that the 57.3 billion won budget for the Gwangju-Jeonnam integration was omitted from the supplementary budget, criticizing the government's stance as essentially telling them to 'borrow money to do it.'
