Trump deletes AI image portraying him as a healer

Former President Donald Trump has taken down a post featuring an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated image that depicted him as a religious savior, following criticism. The image showed Trump, clad in a white robe, placing his hand on the forehead of another man in a hospital gown, with the U.S. flag and the Statue of Liberty visible in the background.

Trump countered claims that the image compared him to Jesus, attributing such interpretations to 'fake news'.

The controversy comes days after White House faith advisor Paula White-Cain compared Trump's 2024 presidential campaign to Jesus' persecution. Marjorie Taylor Greene called the image 'nothing short of blasphemy.' White-Cain told Trump, 'There is no sacrifice that you have not made. It almost cost you your life.'
