Police Launch Investigation into Cheongju Daycare Abuse Allegations

Police have launched an investigation following accusations of abuse against young children at a daycare center in the Cheongju area.

The allegations involve children between the ages of 2 and 3, and the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency is currently questioning the involved teacher and director.

Four parents filed a complaint, alleging that Teacher A habitually abused the children by pinching them or pulling their hair. According to the complaint, Teacher A also allegedly struck a child's face with another child's hand and spoke ill of parents who filed grievances.

Director B has been accused of abetting Teacher A's abusive behavior.

Both Teacher A and Director B have denied the abuse allegations.

Police plan to question Teacher A and Director B after analyzing CCTV footage seized from the daycare center.
