OpenAI Unveils ChatGPT Image 2.0, Next-Gen Text-to-Image Tool

OpenAI has unveiled 'ChatGPT Image 2.0'. This latest tool, which creates images from text descriptions, is an improved version of the feature released last year. The existence of a new model, dubbed 'ImageGen 2.0', has now been officially confirmed.

This model was praised in user testing on the AI evaluation platform 'Arena' for its near-perfect implementation of text descriptions. A key feature is its advanced visual understanding beyond simple image generation, with enhanced professional design capabilities that structure and present visual information akin to infographics.

The simultaneously released 'Thinking Pro' model is characterized by its strengthened reasoning abilities. Utilizing this model is said to yield more accurate results and maintain consistency of characters and figures across multiple images.

Regarding concerns about the spread of misinformation or misuse, OpenAI stated it is responding cautiously, enhancing AI-generated content identification through features like SynID digital watermarking.

'ChatGPT Image 2.0' will be available to all accounts, including free users, while the 'Thinking Pro' model will be provided to users on paid plans.
