Park Jie-won Tops National Assembly Speaker Suitability Poll
Five-term Democratic Party lawmaker Park Jie-won has secured the top spot in a survey on public preference for the second-half National Assembly Speaker, garnering 25.6% support.
The survey was conducted by Media Tomato at the request of News Tomato from March 20-21, polling 1,036 adults aged 18 and over. The margin of error is ±3.0 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
Among lawmakers mentioned as potential candidates for National Assembly Speaker, Jo Jeung-sik received 7.2% support and Kim Tae-nyeon received 3.8%. 'Other individuals' accounted for 23.4%, while 26.0% responded that there was 'no suitable candidate.'
