LG Chem is actively leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technology to enhance work efficiency across various internal tasks, from legal teams reviewing contracts to finance teams forecasting exchange rates, keeping pace with the latest AI trends. The company is accelerating innovation in work methods through AI-based systems and talent development programs, notably achieving up to a 30% reduction in work hours with the introduction of an automated contract review solution.

LG Chem is the first Korean company to empower all employees to derive insights using the AI analysis platform CDS (Citizen Data Scientist) without requiring specialized coding expertise. This platform has helped identify over 20 improvement projects in the past three months.

In manufacturing sites, AI is being applied to predict quality, detect process abnormalities, and anticipate equipment failures.
