Samsung Electronics Bolsters AI Appliance Lineup for European Market

Samsung Electronics held its home appliance technology seminar 'The Brief Milan' on the 21st (local time) in Milan, Italy. At the event, Samsung Electronics revealed its determination to conquer the European market by focusing on high-efficiency AI home appliances customized for European consumers and the 'AI Energy Saving Mode' based on SmartThings.

At this seminar, Samsung Electronics strengthened its lineup of high-efficiency AI home appliances in line with the European market's trend of prioritizing energy efficiency, and showcased the 'AI Energy Saving Mode' feature utilizing the SmartThings platform.

Samsung Electronics unveiled a range of laundry appliances that meet Europe's energy efficiency standard Class A. Notably, the 'Bespoke AI Washer' features an 'AI Custom Wash+' function that further reduces energy consumption by 65% compared to Class A.

Furthermore, Samsung Electronics also presented built-in kitchen appliances that fit European living spaces. The 'Induction Cooktop with Integrated Hood' effectively removes smoke and odors generated during cooking, while the 'Bespoke AI Dishwasher' boasts performance that saves an additional 20% energy compared to Class A.

The 'AI Energy Saving Mode,' linked with SmartThings, offers an energy saving effect of up to 15%. Moon Jong-seung, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics' DA division, stated, "We will actively target the European market by strengthening our lineup of high-efficiency built-in AI appliances tailored to European lifestyles."

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics also participated in 'Milan Design Week 2026' during the same period, operating an exhibition hall where visitors could experience design value.
