Pre-candidate Koh Eui-sook Launches Fair Election Monitoring Center

The election campaign for Koh Eui-sook, pre-candidate for Jeju Provincial Superintendent of Education, has begun operating a 'Fair Election Monitoring and Reporting Center' on the 23rd, launching efforts to monitor and respond to illegal and unlawful election practices by the opposing candidate. The campaign stated this measure is intended to ensure the Jeju Provincial Superintendent of Education election proceeds cleanly and fairly as a forum for democratic education, and that it will monitor and respond to reports of the opposing candidate's violations of law or quasi-legal electoral conduct.

The campaign will also operate a 'Fake News Response Team' to counter false information spreading online and on social media.

Pre-candidate Koh Eui-sook stated they will do their best not to disappoint the citizens and children with illegal or quasi-legal election practices. Koh also requested pre-candidate Kim Kwang-soo's participation.
