McBride: Trump 'Fires Only Women,' White House Says She 'Doesn't Know What a Woman Is'

Amidst a series of firings of two female cabinet secretaries by U.S. President Donald Trump in recent weeks, Representative Sarah McBride predicted she would be the next to be dismissed.

The White House retorted to these remarks by stating, 'McBride doesn't even know what a woman is.'

President Trump has consecutively dismissed Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen and Attorney General Pam Bondi within a four-week period. Secretary of Labor R. Alexander Acosta resigned amid allegations.

In an interview, Representative McBride said, 'President Trump only fires women.' Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also echoed McBride's sentiment, stating that President Trump 'seems only capable of firing female staffers.'
