Use Chrome AI Instantly, No Tab Switching Needed

Google has added the 'Gemini in Chrome' feature to Chrome, the world's most used internet browser. Now, you can use artificial intelligence (AI) functions directly without having to move to another window while browsing websites.

Clicking the newly added 'Ask Gemini' button in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser opens an AI response window on the right side of the screen, allowing users to instantly process tasks like summarizing desired information or drafting emails.

With the AI feature integrated into Chrome, the world's No. 1 browser by market share, users can conveniently perform tasks such as searching, summarizing, scheduling, and drafting emails without interrupting their web surfing flow.

Current limitations include AI sometimes misinterpreting context, leading to errors like sending an email with a link to 'US-Iran negotiation news,' or a link to the completed page not opening after a request for image generation. The 'Gems' personalized AI persona feature is not yet included in the Gemini in Chrome version.
