Rival Party Leaders Show Stark Contrast in Campaign Trail Visits
With the June 3rd local elections just 40 days away, Democratic Party leader Chung Chin-lae has reportedly visited 26 campaign sites nationwide. In contrast, People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk's visits to areas outside Seoul this month were limited to Jeju, Incheon, and Gangwon, totaling just three instances.
Chung's frequent visits stand in stark contrast to Jang's less visible campaign presence. Jang appears to have focused more on social media activities than on-site visits, and his overall field activity is considered poor when overseas trips are also taken into account.
