Google Enhances AI Browser Features, Naver Responds with AI Tab

Google has officially entered the search service competition by launching 'Gemini in Chrome,' a browser integrated with artificial intelligence (AI). 'Gemini in Chrome' offers features that help users find information more easily and quickly, such as AI summarizing web page content or instantly answering user questions.

In response, Naver is rushing preparations to counter with its enhanced AI features, the 'AI Tab.' Naver is accelerating its preparations, including starting an internal closed beta test (CBT) on April 17th, with the goal of launching the AI Tab in the first half of the year.

The company plans to expand the application scope of its AI briefing feature from the current 20% to 40% of total searches. Simultaneously, it aims to provide AI agent services beyond simple question-and-answer through the AI Tab.
