People Power Party Holds Second Gyeonggi Governor Primary Debate

The three candidates in the People Power Party's Gyeonggi Province gubernatorial primary will compete on policy in their second vision debate on the 28th. They have pledged to revitalize Gyeonggi Province through innovations in K-semiconductor clusters, transportation, and housing, a transition to an economy centered on advanced industries, and a 'three-axis, five-core' development plan.

The People Power Party will conduct voting among responsible party members and a general public poll over two days starting from the 30th, with the final candidate to be confirmed on the 2nd of next month.

Meanwhile, a three-way race has taken shape with former lawmaker Cho Eung-chun of the Reform Party officially announcing his bid for Gyeonggi Province Governor on the 28th.
