'On AI' Mobile Service to Accelerate Public Administration and Policy

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety launched its 'On AI (Intelligent Work Management Platform)' mobile service on April 30, leveraging the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This service applies advanced private sector AI technology and communication/collaboration tools to public sector work, streamlining complex reporting and approval processes and enabling efficient work anytime, anywhere.

Hwang Gyu-cheol, head of the AI Government Bureau at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, stated that users can review reports and issue directives via smartphone even while on business trips, and that the service includes real-time captioning for meetings and AI-based minute generation.

'On AI' is currently being piloted in four ministries, including the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and is scheduled to be expanded to over 40 central administrative agencies by the second half of this year.
