People Power Party Jeju Chapter Appoints New Acting Leader
The People Power Party's Jeju Provincial Chapter has appointed Senior Vice Chairman Lee Jong-chang as acting chairman after Chapter Chairman Ko Ki-cheol stepped down from his post on the 30th of last month to run in the Seogwipo National Assembly by-election.
The chapter stated that this move is intended to minimize any operational vacuum and to 'steadily' advance pending issues, including responses to local and by-elections.
Acting Chairman Lee Jong-chang plans to take charge of the chapter's main duties for the time being, focusing on organizational reform and election preparations.
