Song Young-gil on Southeastern Election Strategy: 'Busan Should Be Left to Candidate Jeon Jae-soo'
Song Young-gil, the Democratic Party's candidate for the Incheon Yeonsu-gap by-election, stated on the 4th regarding the party's election strategy for the Yeongnam region, "In the case of Busan, the public sentiment I've gauged is a basic thought of 'it would be good to leave it to candidate Jeon Jae-soo'."
He added that central party support might be more effective for the actions of leader Song Young-gil, who is visiting the Yeongnam region for a three-day, two-night schedule.
Song specifically cited election results from past general elections in the Busan area, pointing out that excessive optimism late in the campaign could provoke a check-and-balance mentality among voters.
