Busan SW Meister High School Tackles Social Issues with AI

Students from Busan Software Meister High School showcased an AI-based public opinion analysis and response service called 'Scrupulous Gaze' at AI Expo Korea. This service leverages artificial intelligence (AI) technology to address social issues arising from the rapid spread of specific opinions online.

Inspired by the increasing instances of harm caused to celebrities or influential figures due to the swift dissemination of information or opinions across online communities and social media, the service offers features such as pre-screening of social media posts and real-time public opinion monitoring.

The HAN model was applied to develop the AI for predicting public opinion resurgence, while the Gemini model and LangGraph technology were used for the statement review AI. LLM API costs were mitigated by utilizing Google AI Studio. The service received positive feedback from booth visitors for its robust design, and its commercialization potential was deemed feasible if Gemini API cost issues are resolved.
