Seoul Mayoral Candidates Present Individual Visions for the City's Future

Jung Won-o, candidate for the Democratic Party, and Oh Se-hoon, candidate for the People Power Party, revealed their visions for 'Seoul's Future' on the 7th.

At the 'News1 Future Forum' held on the same day, Jung stated that Seoul, which relies solely on real estate, will struggle to find its future. He pledged to ensure that real estate capital flows into innovative companies, leading to job creation and changes in citizens' lives.

In contrast, Oh presented 'Companionship and Charm' as his administration's key themes, explaining that Seoul's urban competitiveness has risen from 17th to 12th place in the city competitiveness index and from 8th to 6th place in the Mori index. Oh projected that by the end of the year, the city's competitiveness ranking would surpass Singapore to reach 5th place, emphasizing that continuous effort and investment are necessary to achieve this.
