Florida Man in His 50s Arrested for Assaulting, Robbing Woman in Her 80s at Bus Stop

A 56-year-old man has been arrested in Tampa, Florida, for allegedly assaulting and robbing an 82-year-old woman at a bus stop. The incident, which occurred on the evening of May 1, involved Joseph Patrick Wren, who is accused of grabbing the victim by the hair, throwing her to the ground, causing her to lose consciousness, and then stealing her property. The suspect was reportedly wearing a T-shirt with the slogan 'No Christ No Life'. He allegedly took the victim's bag and fled on a bicycle.

The 82-year-old victim received treatment at a hospital and has since been released and is recovering.

Tampa police tracked down the suspect based on CCTV footage and tips from local residents, leading to the arrest of Joseph Patrick Wren on robbery charges. Wren is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail, and police have charged him with robbery.
