Dalseo District's 286 Pharmacies Emerge as Key Partners in Senior Care
Approximately 286 pharmacies in Dalseo District, Daegu, are set to play a central role in senior care, moving beyond their traditional function of simply selling medicine.
To address the challenges faced by seniors in an increasingly aging society, pharmacies are being transformed into a strong welfare safety net within the local community.
Dalseo District Mayor Lee Tae-hoon has signed a memorandum of understanding with the local pharmaceutical association, committing to collaborate on identifying seniors in need of assistance, guiding them on proper medication use, and connecting them to health care systems.
