Jang Dong-hyuk Rallies Support Ahead of Local Elections

People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyuk began a tour of the North Chungcheong and Gyeongbuk regions on the 12th, 22 days before the June 3 local elections, to rally party members and supporters.

Jang attended a party official meeting and victory pledge rally held at the North Chungcheong provincial party headquarters in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, appealing for support for party candidates, including South Chungcheong gubernatorial candidate Kim Tae-heum.

On the 9th, he had previously attended the opening ceremony for candidate Kim's campaign office in his constituency of Boryeong and Seocheon, South Chungcheong Province, campaigning by saying, "This is an election where we must make Kim Tae-heum, a strong and capable candidate who can continue Chungcheong and South Chungcheong's development without interruption, the governor."
