Trump: Iran Ceasefire 'Very Weak,' War Could Resume Anytime
U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned that Iran's proposed ceasefire is in its "weakest state," suggesting that war could resume at any moment.
Speaking at a 'Maternal Health Event' in the Oval Office, Trump dismissed Iran's proposal for an end to hostilities as a "foolish offer," adding that he had not bothered to read it fully as it was delivered via Pakistan.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump also hinted at the possibility of resuming 'Operation Praying Mantis' (Operation Freedom) to help stranded merchant ships escape the Strait of Hormuz, stating it could be conducted on a larger scale than before.
