Night Search Continues for Elementary Student Missing Second Day in Cheongsong's Juwangsan National Park

Elementary student A-군, who was visiting Juwangsan National Park in Cheongsong, Gyeongbuk, with his family, has been missing for two days, with a night search underway, but he has not yet been found. A-군 left his family, saying he was going to visit the main peak, and went on the hike alone without his mobile phone, and did not return. Police and fire authorities are making every effort to find him after receiving a report.

On the night of November 11, search authorities deployed four drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras and two rescue dogs to find the missing A-군. The Gyeongbuk Fire Department conducted a night search operation by deploying drones and rescue dogs.

The initial search focused on the area from Daejeonsa Temple to the main peak, but as A-군 was not found, the search scope was expanded to the entire Juwangsan area. The National Park Service and police are conducting the search operations.
