Four-vehicle pile-up in Incheon underpass halts morning commute

Four vehicles collided one after another in an underpass in front of Incheon Grand Park, Namdong-gu, Incheon, around 1:10 AM on the 12th. Two people, including the cargo truck driver, were injured and received hospital treatment.

The accident caused debris from the mobile homes loaded onto the trailer to spill onto the road, leading to over six hours of cleanup work. Consequently, traffic in the direction from Jangsu Interchange to Seochang Junction was completely blocked. Namdong-gu issued a disaster alert via text message, informing residents of the closure and urging them to take detours.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances, suspecting the trailer driver entered the underpass disregarding the height restriction, leading to the accident.
