The production site of the KF-21, South Korea's first fighter jet developed with its own technology, has been unveiled. For the first time, the manufacturing process of approximately 20 KF-21 fighter jets, scheduled for operational deployment with the Air Force starting in September, was shown on a sophisticated production line.

The KF-21 can fly at a maximum speed of Mach 1.8, carry up to 7.7 tons of weaponry, and has a range of approximately 2,900 km. Discussions for exporting over 200 units are currently underway with several countries, including Poland and Indonesia.

The defensive capabilities of the Cheongung-II interceptor missile, which has demonstrated its effectiveness in the Middle East, were also put on display. Drills simulating ballistic missile launches from an adjacent Cheongung-II battery were conducted. The system reached its interception readiness phase just 10 minutes after a triple-check, showcasing its might as a core element of South Korea's missile defense system.
