Jung Won-oh, Seoul Mayoral Candidate, Unveils '15-Minute Sports Zone' Pledge
Jung Won-oh, the Democratic Party's candidate for Seoul mayor, announced on April 16, the first weekend after the April 3 local election candidate registration deadline, a core pledge to establish a '15-minute Sports Living Zone' enabling citizens to easily enjoy sports near their homes. Jung unveiled this pledge via Facebook on the same day.
Jung emphasized his strengths by highlighting the Seongsu-dong development during his time as Seongdong District mayor. He countered allegations from the opposing candidate's side by refuting them as 'political scheming,' launching a counterattack.
The People Power Party on April 16 urged Jung to provide explanations regarding various allegations.
