Oh Se-hoon Pledges 198,000 Homes Along Han River in Real Estate Plan

Oh Se-hoon, the People Power Party candidate for Seoul Mayor, presented a real estate pledge centered on "just build" in the Han River belt area on the second day of his official election campaign, launching an offensive against Democratic Party candidate Jung Won-o. Oh emphasized "expanding supply" as the solution to the "triple-digit price hikes in jeonse, monthly rent, and sales prices" that citizens are experiencing, revealing a concentrated housing supply plan specifically for the Han River belt.

Oh provided specific figures, stating that 310,000 housing units can be commenced by 2031 due to the designation of redevelopment and reconstruction zones over the past five years, with 198,000 units, or two-thirds of the total, concentrated in the Han River belt area.

Through this housing supply pledge, Oh aimed to inform voters in the Han River belt of his commitment to housing supply, highlight his resolve to solve real estate problems, and make it a key election issue.
