US Protesters Target Data Centers Amid Suspicions of Chinese Funding

Experts are warning that protesters, allegedly united and funded by China, are targeting U.S. data centers, a development that could threaten the stability of American information technology (IT) infrastructure.

Climate activists, pro-Palestinian demonstrators, and left-wing activists are coalescing around anti-Americanism, attempting to weaken U.S. AI infrastructure amid the nation's technological competition with China.

Some groups have expanded their reach by sharing videos criticizing a Utah data center project funded by investor Kevin O'Leary, allegedly receiving funding from Neville Roy Singham, an American living in China.

The convergence of these movements is leading to efforts to delay or block multi-billion dollar AI data center projects, citing concerns over energy consumption, water usage, and environmental impact.
