Advance Voting Turnout for Local Elections Hits Record High
The turnout for early voting on the second day of the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections, as of 11 a.m. on May 30, reached 15.38%, setting an all-time record high. A total of 6,866,418 voters out of 44,649,908 eligible voters had completed their ballots by 11 a.m. on the first and second days of early voting. This figure is 1.73 percentage points higher than the turnout during the same period in the 2022 8th Local Elections (15.44%).
Early voting began at 6 a.m. on May 29 and will conclude at 6 p.m. on May 30.
Voters can cast their ballots at 3,571 early voting stations nationwide by presenting their identification.
