Jeong Won-oh Attacks Incumbent Mayor Oh Se-hoon with 'Change Mayor' Pitch
Jeong Won-oh, the Democratic Party's candidate for Seoul mayor, appealed for support on May 31, three days before the June 3 local elections, by advocating a 'change mayor' argument against People Power Party candidate Oh Se-hoon.
Jeong criticized Oh's remarks about attending State Council meetings to check the current administration if elected, stating, "Wouldn't it make Korea's path forward more difficult if a mayor who obstructs and interferes continues to attend State Council meetings and continually hold back the president?"
He urged voters to elect him as mayor to implement a cooperative city administration and resolve the difficulties facing South Korea.
