US President Donald Trump canceled the planned airstrikes against Iran scheduled for that evening amid growing concerns that a ceasefire could be broken after two consecutive days of retaliatory attacks, as discussions on a peace agreement, approved by Iran's supreme leadership, progressed.

It is reported that the discussions for this agreement were approved by the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and other related parties. President Trump stated that the naval blockade against Iran would be fully maintained until the negotiations are finally concluded.

He added that the date and location for the signing ceremony would be announced soon. If a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is signed, it is anticipated to mark a transition towards a diplomatic phase centered on subsequent denuclearization talks, effectively signaling the nearing end of the conflict between the US and Iran.
