President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for state affairs stood at 57%. According to a Gallup poll, the President's approval rating was 57%.

The Democratic Party's approval rating was 41%, and the People Power Party's approval rating was 29%.

In a poll for the preferred Democratic Party leader, Kim Min-seok received 58.7%, while Chung Cheong-rae received 26.4%. There were no mentions of the timing of Representative Chung Cheong-rae's resignation.

It was confirmed that Noh Tae-ak, Chairman of the National Election Commission, only worked half-time for three months prior to the election, given his non-standing position.
