Lee Jae-myung's Accountability Demands Intensify Factional Conflict within Democratic Party

Lines of conflict between factions within the Democratic Party are becoming more pronounced following President Lee Jae-myung's messages emphasizing accountability from the ruling party.

Through social media, President Lee reiterated the ruling party's role with a message stating, 'The ruling party's passion must be directed not only at our base but at all citizens.'

In response, Supreme Council member Kang Duk-koo said at a Supreme Council meeting at the National Assembly, "The ruling party shares a destiny with the President and is responsible for the lives of the people," adding, "Politics of inclusion must be pursued rather than creating enemies."
