Democratic Party Chairman Jeong Cheong-rae and Prime Minister Kim Min-seok attended a workshop for local election winners on the 21st, engaging in a subtle clash over the concept of a 'winning Democratic Party.'

Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, speaking as a representative of the government, defined the current moment as a 'historic turning point for the party,' urging its reconstruction by stating, 'Creating a Democratic Party that wins again is our next task.'

Prime Minister Kim continued, 'With only four years left, if the central government falters, if the President falters, what can we achieve?' He stressed, 'To firmly establish a Democratic Party that does not falter, we must first and foremost re-lace our shoelaces to become a party that can give us confidence that we will win this time, win next time, and win in the future,' expressing expectations for continued victories.
