Drunk Woman's Wrong-Way Crash Injures 5; Two Daughters On Board

A drunk woman in her 30s crossed the center line and drove in the opposite direction, colliding with multiple vehicles. The woman, whose blood alcohol content was at a level requiring license revocation, caused the accident around 8:20 PM on June 21st on a road in Byeon-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon. The incident began when the woman's sedan crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle. A taxi following behind also crashed into the scene, resulting in damage to a total of three vehicles and injuries to five people, including the taxi driver.

At the time of the accident, the woman's two daughters, aged 6 and 8, were traveling with her in the car. The daughters were confirmed to be unharmed.

Police have booked the woman on charges of drunk driving and causing injury, and are investigating the details of the accident.
