Seoul City Launches Festival for Future Technology Experience

Seoul City will host the '4th Seoul Future Lab Festival: Future Tech Playground' on June 27th at the Seoul Future Lab Experience Center and surrounding Magok Plaza. This festival, where citizens can directly experience future technologies such as AI, robots, and drones, is themed 'A Summer Where Future Tech Becomes Play.' It has been planned with the participation of partner institutions and related companies, centered around the Seoul Future Lab, to help citizens engage with advanced technologies in an easy and fun way.

The event is structured into three experience zones: Tech Zone, Arcade Zone, and Atelier. A variety of programs will be offered, including drone rescue missions, robot interaction, AI consultations, robot soccer games, generative AI image creation, and robot assembly. Citizens will be able to gain familiarity with future technologies through hands-on operation and interaction.

Outdoor programs are available on a first-come, first-served basis onsite, while indoor programs require pre-registration through the Seoul Public Service Reservation System.

Lee Soo-yeon, Head of Seoul's Economic Policy Bureau, expressed her hope that this festival will serve as an opportunity to foster citizens' interest and imagination in future technologies. The event is expected to enhance public understanding of future technologies and contribute to the spread of related education and culture.
