Approximately 29,671 apartment units are scheduled to be released onto the market nationwide in July. This figure represents an increase of about 30% compared to the same month last year.
A significant 68% of the total supply, amounting to 20,252 units, will be concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area. A further 9,419 units are slated for supply in regional areas.
In Seoul, 'Summit Clavien' (812 units) in Singil-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, and 'Chungjeongno Station Xi Rene' (299 units) in Jungnim-dong, Jung-gu, are among those preparing for sale. In Gyeonggi Province, projects such as 'Hangang Prugio Riverfront' (2,432 units) in Gochon-eup, Gimpo-si, 'Sangdong Station Lotte Castle' (1,859 units) in Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, 'Osan Heritage Xi 1·2BL' (a total of 1,783 units) in Yangsan-dong, Osan-si, and 'Uiwang Station SK View' (1,857 units) in Samdong, Uiwang-si, will be supplied. In Incheon, a total of 6,154 units will be offered, including 'City OCEL 9 Complex' (2,013 units) in Hagik-dong, Michuhol-gu, 'Sangok Station Xi Hillstate & Haneulchae' (2,706 units) in Sangok-dong, Bupyeong-gu, and 'Geomdan AA17BL' (1,435 units) in Bullo-dong, Seo-gu. Among regional areas, Gyeongsangnam-do will supply the largest number of units with 4,355.
Zigbang noted that rising construction costs, driven by global geopolitical instability and increased price volatility of raw materials, continue to put upward pressure on sale prices for new developments. It is expected that potential buyers will focus their applications on properties that offer competitiveness relative to their sale price, considering factors such as location, product quality, living infrastructure, and surrounding demand.
