A Special Committee for Investigation concerning the shortage of ballots in the 6/3 local elections convened to discuss the police's on-site response to ongoing protests at the Olympic Park handball arena, now in their 27th day. The handling of the situation by law enforcement was a primary focus of the meeting.

Appearing before the National Assembly's Special Committee, Commissioner Park addressed the reasons for not immediately subduing protestors during the 'Oldark' incident. He explained, "It would have been easy to pull one person down, but we assessed that there were many people around, posing a risk of escalating into a clash." He also stated that the police are "investigating to identify individuals involved according to procedure" in relation to the incident.

Furthermore, concerning the unauthorized search of the junior women's national handball team's belongings by protestors, Park noted, "About 100 people acted impulsively at the time, making it difficult for the police on site to make arrests." He added that "investigations are underway to identify the perpetrators."
