Tongyeong City to Distribute 330,000 Won Per Person Livelihood Support Fund

Tongyeong City, Gyeongnam Province, will distribute a 'Livelihood Recovery Support Fund' of 330,000 won per person, totaling 38.5 billion won, to boost the local economy and help stabilize citizens' lives. This measure is intended to provide convenience for citizens and increase local consumption, thereby revitalizing small businesses and neighborhood economies.

Approximately 116,000 citizens who were registered in Tongyeong City as of April 15 this year are eligible. The support fund can be received as a mobile Tongyeong Love Gift Certificate or a prepaid card.

A related ordinance is awaiting re-examination by the Tongyeong City Council. The city plans to disburse the support fund in August after the ordinance and budget are finalized.
