Woman Wrapped in U.S. Flag Who Blocked Polling Station Appears at Police
A, who is suspected of interfering with the vote counting process during last month's presidential election, appeared at the police station on the 10th and argued that her actions did not constitute a crime. Her attorney, Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn, also pleaded innocence, asking, "She was just standing there; how is that a crime?"
A urged the National Election Commission to preserve evidence, stating, "The preservation of ballot boxes must be carried out first."
The woman, wrapped in the U.S. flag and blocking the entrance to the polling station, underwent police questioning on charges of obstruction of business.
