Osan Police Request Warrant for Man in 60s Who Stabbed Two at Factory

The Osan Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 30th that it had applied for a warrant for the arrest of Mr. A, a man in his 60s accused of wielding a weapon at a machinery factory he used to deal with, resulting in two casualties. During police interrogation, Mr. A claimed he had a business relationship with Mr. B for 10 years.

Mr. A stands accused of stabbing Mr. B (60s) and Mr. C (70s) with a weapon at a factory in Osan City around 6:20 PM on the 20th, killing one and injuring the other. Mr. C, who was intervening in the attack, was stabbed and taken to a hospital but eventually succumbed to his injuries, while Mr. B is currently receiving treatment.

Immediately after the crime, Mr. A consumed poison in an attempted suicide but recovered after treatment and was arrested by police on the afternoon of the 29th.
