Ulsan Jonggajip Library is holding a coding class called 'Fake News Detector' for elementary school students during the summer break. This coding class was made possible by being selected for the 'Coding with Stories' public offering project, organized by the National Library for Children and Young Adults, and will operate as an educational program that integrates reading and digital technology.

The special lecture, consisting of a total of four sessions, is aimed at students in grades 4-6 and will cover topics such as 'Distinguishing Fact from Opinion,' 'Understanding Prejudice and Perspective,' 'Fake News and Digital Ethics,' and 'Applying Rational Doubt to Real Life.' Students will enhance their digital literacy by creating outputs such as a 'Fake News Detector' by combining reading with artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

An official from Ulsan Jonggajip Library stated that they hope this special lecture will help children develop the ability to correctly understand information in the digital environment and utilize it proactively.
