People Power Party Criticizes Police Starbucks Search as 'Ordered Investigation'

This comes as the 'Tank Day' event from the June 3rd local elections was brought up again. The People Power Party characterized this investigation, which dredged up matters from before the last local elections, as an 'ideological verification' tailored to the regime's tastes, sharpening their criticism.

The Reform Party pointed out that the President and the ruling party had unnecessarily escalated a matter that had already been resolved through an apology and education. Deputy Spokesperson Nam Gyeong-su dismissed the current search as the regime's 'tantrum' against a specific company, warning against unnecessary use of public authority.
