Apple's first foldable smartphone, the 'iPhone Ultra,' is expected to debut first in the United States, with international sales following up to 2-3 months later. Australian IT outlet ChannelNews reported exclusively that the launch schedule will be split between the U.S. and overseas markets.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that while the iPhone Ultra unveiling would occur simultaneously in the U.S. and abroad, pre-orders would be delayed internationally.

However, this report suggests a new possibility that the actual launch timing itself could be staggered by country.
