Comprehensive Analysis of 175 Firms via Public Data…Active Engagement in Procurement, Hiring, and Funding

Based on an aggregation of corporate activity data disclosed across the Public Procurement Service's KONEPS, online recruitment platforms, and crowdfunding sites, 175 companies were found to be expanding their business across diverse sectors, including public procurement contracts, workforce hiring, and crowdfunding projects. The analyzed data included procurement cases involving Daehun Environment, Jinwoo ATS, and Kyobo Life Planet Life Insurance; job postings by Renewpeople and Raon Search; and Wadiz-based funding projects.

Government Procurement: Contracts Centered on Environment, Forestry, and Design Sectors

In the government procurement sector, participation was notable in industries closely tied to public infrastructure, such as the environment, forestry, architectural design, and geographic information. Daehun Environment undertook environmental management services, while Daegyeong Forestry Development and Yuhan Co., Ltd. Forestry Resources Development carried out projects in the forestry sector. In architectural design, Hanin Architectural Group and Hanbit Engineering & Architects Co., Ltd. secured contracts, while Geumgang GIS Co., Ltd. led the way in geographic information.

Participation from the technology and service sectors was also confirmed. Jinwoo ATS undertook aircraft maintenance-related projects, and Innovation Safety Technology Co., Ltd. performed safety diagnostic services. Kyobo Life Planet Life Insurance's entry into the public procurement market is significant as an insurer, marking the acquisition of a public sales channel for digital insurance products. Yible Co., Ltd. and Ace Stone Engineering also secured contracts in their respective specialized fields.

This trend indicates that the public procurement market provides a stable revenue base for specialized SMEs. In particular, the environment and forestry sectors are likely to see expanded demand in the future, aligned with the government's carbon neutrality policy. As procurement contracts typically span one to three years, companies that have secured these agreements are expected to seek further business expansion based on stable cash flow.

Hiring: Demand for Experienced Workers Concentrated in Games, Defense, and Advanced Chemicals

In the recruitment market, demand was distinct for technical roles and talent with global capabilities. Renewpeople Co., Ltd. simultaneously hired for multiple positions, including Global Game GM, Director of an ITS specialist firm's research institute, Overseas Sales Team Manager for defense electronics PCBs, and Resident Manager for a Vietnam production facility. A single company recruiting for diverse overseas and technical roles simultaneously suggests that business diversification and the expansion of overseas production bases are accelerating.

Recruitment in the advanced materials sector is also brisk. Raon Search Co., Ltd. recruited an assistant manager-level Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) experienced professional from an advanced chemical manufacturer's group affiliate, and Background Co., Ltd. recruited quality QC personnel for a KOSDAQ-listed advanced chemical material firm. SHE involves managing worker safety and work environments, and hiring in this field is increasing as demand for regulatory compliance grows in the chemical industry.

Competition for talent continued in the education and service sectors. Shop Music recruited infant music teachers for its Cheongju branch, while S English Academy and Saenggak Academy recruited educational administration staff and math instructors, respectively. Human Consulting Group sought developers for payroll processing systems including year-end tax settlement modules, and Usefit Changwon branch posted a freelance trainer opening. Unlike the manufacturing sector, this shows that education and fitness industries maintain flexible employment structures that utilize freelancers and part-time staff in parallel.

Crowdfunding: Fundraising Success in Food, AI, and Daily Goods

On crowdfunding platforms like Wadiz, food, AI-based services, and daily goods emerged as major categories. In the food sector, Onwa recorded the top performance among open projects, raising over 15.7 million won with its "Peach King Seung-a" project, boasting overwhelming size. Yoon Hong-gon's Charcuterie project raised 870,000 won, while Green Pick's summer-limited peach and plum compote is conducting initial-stage fundraising.

The advancement of AI-utilizing products and services is eye-catching. Ssok-on raised over 3.8 million won with a content production project creating video, music, and shopping shorts using AI, while Algorixm received support of 1.79 million won for a system allowing non-developers to build and monetize their own services with AI. Soonsak Tool also attempted market entry with an AI-based short-form production tool. The successive emergence of projects combining AI with content creation tools reflects the rapidly growing content demand from individual creators and small business owners.

In the daily goods sector, Trubo's anti-theft travel sling bag performed well, raising 2.92 million won, and Troki's ten-head massager succeeded in raising 1.53 million won. LOOK AT ME executed a series funding strategy by sequentially running various projects, including cooling underwear, silicone body shower pads, and wrist-mounted smartphone holders. SMS Co., Ltd. targeted the portable battery and travel goods markets with a QI2-equipped high-speed charger and an ultra-lightweight compression pouch.

Regulatory Trends and Market Implications

Regarding Fair Trade Commission sanctions, a small number of companies were found to have been penalized for violations. While the proportion within the overall data is not large, it highlights that a corporate culture complying with subcontracting and labeling regulations remains a challenge. As trust is a core asset in markets directly interfacing with consumers and the public, such as public procurement and crowdfunding, this underscores the need for companies to strengthen internal controls.

Outlook: Data-Based Diversification as Growth Momentum for SMEs

In summary, the activities of the 175 companies can be summarized by three trends. First, the public procurement market is serving as a stable growth base for policy-driven sectors like environment, forestry, and safety. Second, the recruitment market shows concentrated demand for technical and overseas experienced professionals, indicating the spread of industrial advanced technology into the labor market. Third, crowdfunding has established itself as a validation stage for new entries in the food, AI, and daily goods sectors.

The value of analyzing corporate activities via public data is expected to grow. Procurement contracts, hiring, and fundraising performance are tangible signals of business expansion. However, as many projects remain in the initial stage with relatively low funding amounts, consumer response validation and reward quality management are expected to determine future success. Transparent activity monitoring based on public data is likely to establish itself as a useful tool for evaluating corporate trustworthiness and grasping industrial trends.
