Kim Hyun-chul to PPP: 'No Seniors in Party... Obsessed with Nomination War'

Kim Hyun-chul, chairman of the Kim Young-sam Presidential Foundation, criticized People Power Party (PPP) Leader Han Dong-hoon on Facebook on the 23rd, stating, 'If President Yoon Suk-yeol is the top contributor to creating the Lee Jae-myung regime, Representative Han Dong-hoon is the top contributor to sustaining the Lee Jae-myung regime.'

Chairman Kim lashed out at the party's internal state, saying, 'The situation suggests there are no seniors within the party capable of reining in a figure like Representative Han, and there is concern that problems will arise regarding candidate nominations for the upcoming general election.'

Chairman Kim wrote, 'In the next general election in 2028, the party will receive results falling short of a majority nationwide,' adding, 'Ultimately, I believe a power transition will be achieved in the 2030 presidential election by a reform-minded, rational conservative reconstruction faction.'
