First Amazon Drone Delivery in Texas Ends Up in Home Swimming Pool
An Amazon customer in Texas had to retrieve their first drone delivery from a swimming pool.
On the 20th (local time), the woman went outside after hearing the buzzing sound of an Amazon drone arriving near her house. She had intended to capture the moment of her first drone delivery on video.
During the drop-off process, the drone released the item directly over the swimming pool instead of the designated delivery spot. The footage capturing the scene was released by ABC7 News and circulated online.
Amazon currently operates drone delivery services in cities across seven U.S. states, including Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, and Texas.
