KB Kookmin Bank Launches 'Jeonse Safety Check' Service to Prevent Rental Scams

KB Kookmin Bank has launched the 'Jeonse Safety Check' service on its real estate app 'KB Real Estate,' which verifies the entire process from searching for a home to moving in, step by step, to prevent rental scam damages. This service easily explains essential legal information to check before signing a contract through card news and videos, and also displays changes in property registration documents, which are official documents detailing the property's ownership status. Information on Jeonse deposit return guarantee insurance, response measures in case of rental scam damage, and support institution information can also be accessed in one place.

KB Kookmin Bank operates specialized financial consultation branches near the HUG Jeonse Damage Support Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), and has so far supported the recovery of approximately 7,600 rental scam victims.
